Job: Academy Music Teacher & Curriculum Lead

Role: Full Time/Permanent
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Rate: £25,714 - £46,393 per year (TLR 2b £4,789 depending on experience)

About Our Role
As Curriculum leader for music you will work within the expressive arts faculty, using your passion and expertise for music to create an exciting curriculum and extra-curricular programme. You will be working with other leaders within the faculty to develop “world class” arts education across the academy. The successful candidate will be an experienced and aspirational professional, who is enthusiastic, influential, and committed to working in pursuit of success for the academy and its learners. If you are highly motivated, respond well to a challenge and have excellent communication skills, this could be the job for you!
Qualities Required
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Middle Leadership Experience
- Music Specialist
- Experience teaching across the secondary age range
- Experience of ICT to enhance learning outcomes.
- Ability to plan lessons to ensure progression for all students.
- Has successfully led a team
- Commitment to achieve excellence for all.
