Job Title: Finance Business Manger
The role of the Finance Business Manager is to provide a professional financial service to the school trust and be responsible for the finance support functions of the organisation, ensuring that the Trust is fully compliant and that financial regulations are adhered to. The role includes responsibility for financial procedures and financial control within the Trust as well as providing a centralised finance service to the schools within the Trust. The post holders’ role will also cover financial advice and reporting to the executive team, Trustees, and other stakeholders, including the local authority and auditors.
Job Title: Trust Business Manager
The Trust Business Manager supports the Chief Operations Officer (COO) in carrying out the organisation’s vision, ensuring the effective delivery of school support services, including HR, Governance and GDPR compliance, Marketing and IT. The Trust Business Manager will be an active member of the Trust central service, working with the CEO and COO in developing initiatives as part of the Trust Strategy in relation to its people. The Trust Business Manager will be responsible for leading effective HR operational delivery across the Trust to ensure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness, identifying and making recommendations on areas for improvement. To ensure the Trust is fully compliant with Safer Recruitment legislation and that the whole Trust SCR is up to date and compliant. To work collaboratively with the Chief Financial Officer playing a significant role so that a high level of school support service is delivered and that there are effective working relationships and procedures between teams.
