Part Time Salary: Up to £26,853 (FTE 0.6 3 days) per annum
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds through the power of music? We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teachers for our Independent Primary and Secondary School in Central London.
About Our Role
An outstanding independent school in Central London is looking for Full Time and Part Time Music Teachers to provide exceptional music education to students aged 3 – 18.
An incredibly supportive environment working with colleagues, students and parents who genuinely want to see you succeed and thrive. With great opportunities to be involved in developing IB PYP, MYP & DP and IGCSE programmes.
You will enjoy small class sizes of up to 16 students and manage and coordinate Instrumental Tutors. All staff provide an encouraging and rewarding environment which enables pupils to achieve their full potential. A wide-ranging extracurricular programme is on offer for all children allowing pupils to discover new talents.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to develop, plan, lead and deliver high-quality learning experiences to primary and secondary (3-18) students.
- Be part of an amazing team who are consistent in providing children with an outstanding teaching-learning environment.
- Teach one or more specialism(s) from classroom curriculum music (e.g. violin, piano, trumpet, guitar or voice) to groups of children and whole classes.
- Collaboratively organise and lead whole school (primary/secondary) performances such as the Primary Christmas Show, Secondary Musical, etc.
- Be confident at teaching music across primary and secondary age range.
- Have good music IT skills, QTS is an advantage but not essential.
- Be experienced, flexible, passionate teachers.
- Able to engage the young students at this outstanding independent school.
